The cloak of humility

Living in a world where you can reach your audience in a heartbeat, it’s crucial to don the cloak of humility. You know, that invisible garment which kindly whispers in your ear, “Yes, that's a great idea! And it is therefore likely that another human being might have had the same idea already.”

If you want to place digital ads, do the due diligence of competitor analysis. Check if your organization has done something similar in the past that you can build off of. Read the handover notes that someone took the time to send you.

Get your cloak tailored nice and long so that it trips you up now and then, causing you to gaze downward. Sometimes the seemingly unexplored path is a well-trodden one, waiting to be seen with new eyes.
