Today Deptford… Tomorrow the world!

I had the pleasure of seeing Squeeze perform in Cleveland the other day, and they rocked the house.

What I truly love about the songwriters Difford and Tilbrook is their unapologetic authenticity. In a genre where coolness often reigns supreme, they stand out by embracing their uniqueness.

Their lyrics, like, And I feel like William Tell, Maid Marian on her tip-toed feet, showcase a delightful blend of whimsy and intellect.

In a world that sometimes shuns the educated or the quirky, Squeeze embodies the idea that it’s perfectly okay to be yourself—flaws, nerdiness, and all.

Maybe we don’t have to fit into a narrow mold to find our voice or enjoy life? Instead, we can celebrate our individuality, embracing what makes us different as a source of strength.
